Went here for Fathers Day. They had a buffet and you could order off the menu. The buffet was "ok", mostly Chinese food items, had to wait constantly for items to be replaced as they ran out within minutes of putting it out. 3 of us had the buffet and 1 ordered off the menu. We asked for salt and pepper sqid. Seemed simple enough. After waiting 25 mins a young girl came out of the kitchen and asked if we minded waiting another 20 mins for the sqid!? No explanation at all...but we were very polite and we weren't in a hurry so we said sure ok. It finally came out and right away we knew something was wrong. (We eat s & p squid a lot in Calgary). It was really orange and soggy. But we tried a piece and within a second our mouths were on fire there was so much chili sauce on it!?ive never had sqid like this ever! It would have been more simple to just put a note on the menu so people know it's spicy.... It was not good. So we asked our waitress (Penny was lovely, and running her butt off alone) to let the cook know that we just couldn't eat it as it was ridiculously spicy. So she went to talk to him and he came out of the kitchen and started yelling at us in front of everyone! "That's how it's made in China, you don't come in and order and send back!" We were stunned and embarrassed. He went back to the kitchen and kept yelling at the staff! So unprofessional! Apparently "Tony" and his wife and daughter are new owners but he is completely out of touch with what "customer service is". We felt so bad for the waitress! Any we certainly won't be back, unfortunately for my parents who live in a small town near Castor, they won't have many options for restaurants now. It really ruined our Father's Day! Thanks Tony!!!!
