This place is one of those hidden gems in Edmonton. Fantastic Thai and Laotian food. We ordered one of the curries, a soup, and pad Thai for the two of us. And still there was plenty to take home. Definitely one of those places that I definitely wish to visit again. One piece of advice however, if driving there, be very careful of the potholes around the restaurant. It can damage your vehicle if your vehicle is low enough. Plenty of deep potholes. Definitely one thing that needs to be addressed by Mothe Cafe and Syphay.

Delicious chicken pad Thai! They go easy on the spice so make sure to ask for more. Service was friendly and consistent, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I would definitely go back!

Great tasting food, good portions, and nice interior as well. The only place surviving in the area from the Mirama age. We ordered chicken and got beef in one of our dishes though but we're fine with eating any meat so it wasn't a problem. Had curry, stir fry, and their fried rice between three people. Filled us up decently, for the taste it's worth the price!

The best Lao/Thai I've ever had. Best Tom Yum soup I've ever eaten. Best Thai Green Curry too! And great service. Highly recommended.
