The food deserves 4.5-5 stars but as commented by others, the service just doesn't measure up. Coordinated a large group for dinner. Ordered several bottles of wine for the table - not one of the bottles was presented or opened in front of me. When discussing the menu for appetizer options, no effort or suggestion was made on how to accommodate plates for a larger group. Pasta dishes executed very well - pasta properly cooked, sauces fresh and flavourful, portion size (dinner) respectable. Everyone enjoyed their mains. My NY striploin (and others too who had steak) was delicious. Kudos to the kitchen staff. They did a fantastic job timing the mains. Service was totally devoid of personality or personal touch. It's called the hospitality industry for good reason folks - might want to look up Webster's definition of what that entails.

One of my favorite restaurants in Edmonton. I have been here several times and the food and service is consistently high quality, I have never been disappointed. We went here for my 29th birthday and the executive chef Sonny was actually cooking that day! My entire table had steaks, which are similar priced to the Keg and as high or better quality, I had the shortrib ravioli & it was nothing short of amazing. We got the appetizer taster, entrees, 2 drinks each and dessert for $60 per person. I thought we got great value for our money. The only comment I have is their wine list is expensive, so I stuck with specialty drinks.

Service was great. Flavours were on point. The meatballs and soup were the best dishes that we tried. The star meat in the bison cannelloni and steak was slightly dry in both. The meat appearing medium rare for the steak, but seeming like it was heated, stopped, then heated again as no juice flowed. Neither main was so dry that they disappointed due to incredible sauces, and veggies which made up for the lost meat juices. Soup was chicken noodle, and tasted great although they could have skipped the noodles. The only real disappointment was the starch if the day which had the taste of old oil from the fryer.

The service and atmosphere are amazing. I held back a star for the way the gnochi was described on the menu. They say house made but only the sauce it. So, over $20 dollars for packaged gnochi and delicious sauce was a bit upsetting

Went on Valentine’s Day 2019 the menu was a special one, choose an app, main then you get a special desert. But was not put on the web site so you thought the main menu was being used, instead you get this high priced menu when seated surprised you get better food at the keg and more at the keg and I hardly ever go to the keg. Places that I usually go to are Hardware Grill, Wildflower grill and Vivo this place is not even close. Go somewhere else!
