It was mine and my girlfriend's first time here so we tried the tasting menu and we were both very happy with our choice. The waiter was extremely pleasant and informative as he explained each dish that he brought to the table. Our favourites were the baked oysters and mushroom risotto, which I'll definitely come back for as a regular meal. We did not have a single complaint and highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch midweek. Service was prompt and the food (I had the schnitzel) was delicious. Would recommended to a friennd or coworker anytime. I will definitely return.

Not even worth the one star! I can't comment on the food because we never made it past cocktails. The waitress got our drink order wrong (which sometimes happens, not a huge deal) and then argued that it was correct. After finally agreeing that she messed up she screwed around for another 20 min before starting to make the correct drinks. We paid for the one correct drink we did get and walked out. On the bright side The Marc is just around the corner. The food and service at The Marc was exceptional. So in the end maybe it worked out for the best.

Went there as a group on one of my friend's birthday. Food didn't impressed us at all, service was okay. BUT, here is the thing. We ordered tasting menu ($89/person) which it says come with 6 to 7 course. We ended up having only 5. The waiter said because we brought in a cake, so they didn't provide their dessert. We asked for price adjustment, they said no, since they charge a bring-in cake fee that waives the last dessert course. In addition, they also charged $2/person cake cutting fee without notifying us in front. Definitely not coming again.

The food was pretty good but we were disappointed with exclusions from what was described in the menu. As one example, one of the dishes we ordered was supposed to come with pickled beets, candied walnuts and beet-cured salmon roe, none of which made it to the plate. When we inquired, we were told they decided to just boil the beets, they were out of salmon roe and the chef forgot the walnuts. Very disappointing as it changed the dish completely from what was described and what was expected. Overall, service was excellent and food was good but we would have been happier with the opposite.
