I would like to share my more than perfect experience this evening. I’m going to start with this. Upon arriving to earls for our meal we had received some bad news, and we were a very tough crowd in horrible moods. Our server Tanya greeted us with the most beautiful smile, and introduced herself. I felt bad for her as our group was very unresponsive and dry. I’m sure she picked up on the tone of us as a whole, yet we did not phase her in the least way! Throughout our entire time there, from taking our orders to refilling our drinks that smile never left her face, neither did her upbeat personality and happy tone. She did not hesitate to answer any of our questions, or go above and beyond to make our time there the best it could be. She cracked a few jokes, engaged with us and tried her best to lift our spirits. I can happily say that by the end of our experience each and everyone of us had a smile on our faces, and we walked out a world of a difference happier. This is QUALITY service, we eat out every day and I have never experienced this. To Tanya; thank you for being such a beautiful spirit and representing your company so well, your energy radiates immensely. To Earls Tin Palace management; Thank you for providing us with a ray of sunshine and perfect server/food! I cannot wait to tell everyone about this and we cannot wait to come back!

While the food is always good here (I have never had a bad experience), the service is slow. My work team has been here several times for lunch and even though they are downtown and should be aware of the lunch hour timeline, we are usually there for about 2 hours. Today it took about 30-40 minutes to even have our order taken. I do understand that large groups take longer but we shouldn't have to wait over an hour from arrival to eating our food. Might be a better place to go without a timeline. They do have a delightful patio and even a covered inside/outside patio space. It's a good atmosphere and nice inside but slow slow service.

I’m not one to write reviews, or ever complain at restaurants, but at the very least maybe I can save someone $5. I ordered the $12.50 “Better Burger with fries” during Earls’ Happiest Hour and was asked if I wanted cheese. I said “sure”. I get my bill and the $12.50 “Better Burger” became the $17.50 “Cheddar Burger”. My happiest hour became... my saddest hour. When I asked if cheese could possibly cost $5 extra, I was informed (she really said this) that it’s kind of like those no frills airlines, where you get charged up the butt when you need to bring a carry on etc. The main difference here is that people going on no frill flights know what they’re paying for and if you can go through the trouble of telling me what it’s like, just tell me cheese is an extra $5 and I won’t have the worlds fanciest cheese (apparently cheddar) on my burger. Also, the Cheddar Bacon Burger is $17.75. Does this mean that bacon is $.025? Confusing right? $5 extra cheese for an alright burger. The end.

Happy hour between 3pm to 6pm is a great time to go. You will save money, enjoy good food and have a great time with your friends. The patio is nice on hot summer day as well. The entrance walk way before entering is a nice place to take a photo as well.

Went for brunch with a larger group of about 8. Food was fairly slow to come and when it did it was cold. One person had to get their food remade as eggs were cooked incorrectly and we had all finished our meals before they had managed to return her correct order. Server forgot one of us didn't have a meal and had to remind her. She didn't seem to worried about it. But for 8 bucks a meal during their brunch happy hour the price adequately reflected the service and meal.
