It was my first time going there for dinner and it was a great time! Our server Nathan (a.k.a. Logic) had great charisma and was super helpful when it came to my trying to decide what to order! (There were so many great sounding items) The modern bowl was delicious! I ordered it without the tebouleh because I'm gluten free, and had the grilled chicken and avocado! I will definitely be coming back!

I came here two weeks ago for my birthday. we had a group of 8 so automatically had a 18% tip added to our bill. Started off smoothly, but the service was absolutely awful. Yes our server was nice, but she lacked any sense of awareness. I was out with my friends wanting to drink and celebrate and was unable to order as many drinks as we wanted because our server was never at our table. We waited 20 minutes for a dessert menu then sat with the menu infront of us for 20 minutes again until she came back to see if we wanted anything. We sat with all 8 of our dirty plates on our table for at least a hour before any of them were cleared. Being a server myself I looked around to any other factors that could be affecting our poor service, but the server only had 4 other tables. We were hoping to speak to management before we left to give feed back, and to express that we feel we should not have to pay the 18% tip, but no management came to do a table check. The food was good, but the service factor really turned me off from wanting to come back to this location.

This place is without a doubt one of the best places to eat I've been in the city, the staff are polite and very understanding of allergies, the food is awesome and I've got to say that's the first time I've had a medium well steak that tasted that good. If I had one complaint.... the Rob's Flatbread is not big enough!!!

I recently had booked a party here and there had been a large miscommunication about the legal age of the party. There was 15 people and out of 15, one person was still under age, so of course not wanting to do anything illegal or get the restaurant in trouble I notified them that one was 16 and that if they could not find a table of 15 in the restaurant than she will leave, she was my sister so she understood and didn’t want to stress me out on my birthday. However the problem I have is the poor way it was handled. One of the managers was extremely rude and handled it very unprofessionally. Refusing to try to do anything to help and he was not polite when telling me that she could not attend. I recognize you have to be stern but there was no need for him to be so rude. He then proceeded to try to tell me that I was lying claiming that I was notified it was in the lounge. Which is unfortunately wrong because the female manager who discussed it with me on the phone when I made the initial booking did not in fact tell me it was in the lounge I know this because if she did I would have made the request to change it because I would have preferred a more private setting. The other manager however was kind enough to try and find us a table at the other cactus club location. However this other manager then proceeded at the end of the night to rudely tell us we need to leave the restaurant because they have another reservation. I know our booking was from 6:00-8:45 and we were running late leaving at about 8:55 so it was time to go which I urged my guests to get ready to go telling them we only had till 8:45 but again the manager handled it in such a rude fashion telling us we need to leave instead of just being courteous and politely telling us that there is another reservation and we need to be leaving Overall, it was quite an enjoyable experience despite the issues and our waitress was amazing, however, the way these managers conducted themselves in front of staff and especially to guests was unprofessional and simply uncalled for. I hope that they will improve their mannerisms in future situations.

We had a wonderful meal here! Food was hot, well seasoned and exactly as we ordered it. My husband and I shared a steak (which was plated on separate plates, no problem) and some lettuce wraps. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium well, and the lettuce wraps were delightful. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and the staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. We will DEFINITELY be coming back to the West Edmonton Mall Cactus Club again. My only suggestion is that you call ahead to make a reservation; it was BUSY!
