We had lunch here on out visit to Red Deer. It was good. Services were good and watress very friendly and efficient. She brought hot bread to snack on while we waited to order we ate it and asked for more it was so good. Food was good the only thing was mine was so spicy hot my lips burned for awhile after. If I would have known it to be spicy hot I might not have ordered it. Overall our lunch experience was good we will go back but will not order same food.

The food was tasty. It was a nice meal. The server was very pleasant but she was incredibly slow. It wasn't that busy in the restaurant so I don't understand why it was so slow. If the server were more prompt and asked if we wanted refills my rating would have been higher. The food and service was not worth the cost of the meals. It's a more expensive menu and to justify that cost I think the service needs to improve.

Every time I order, my meal is either messed up or missing multiple portions. When I call to get the food corrected or ask for the rest of my meal delivered, it is messed up again. Not just a one time thing, two times in a row. Last time I waited five hours for my meal. FIVE! Today it has been two and a half, I'm still waiting. I ask for a discount or a credit for my meal, and they offer to resend the meal to me or a $15 credit. I then asked if they had their food delivered in pieces over three to five hours, if that's something they would be happy with. She responded yes. This is unacceptable. This will be the last time I eat East Side Mario's. Worst customer service.

Server and host were friendly but that was the only positive to this restaurant. $7 drink was pretty much water. Took 23 minutes for the appy to come to the table and it was horrible tasting. Garden salad had 2 olives, 3 tomatoes, 1 onion piece and soggy lettuce. Pasta was ok but for a $19 pasta dish I expect a way better taste. Was never offered more drinks/ offered refills. Overall service was very, very slow.
