The location is a little small but the food is great. It has a rustic summer time vibe that is a nice change when the weather is not the same outside. I will definitely come back again.

This is becoming our go-to place for family birthdays. We had two family birthdays at Salsa so far in the past six months or so, and will be going to Salsa in a few days for my niece's birthday. It's a great choice as we all enjoy authentic Mexican food and this time we want to try more of the Latin American dishes esp those from El Salvador which are their specialty. The waitress remembers us, and is very friendly and helpful, even taking a group photo for us. Overall good food in a relaxing, casual atmosphere with kind and knowledgeable staff. The cheesecake is a bit different from Canadian style but very good and my niece loves the rich Leche Cake with (I think) FOUR types of milk!

Sad to say our lunch here today will be our last . Their menu has been cut which is good I guess for them but not for a customer . No more chimichangas which was out main dish along with the fries tilapia dish. The fish dish is still in the menu . We ordered the fish and tried to order a quesadilla as well a burrito..they had no cheese ... This was at lunch time 12:30 . So we got the burrito . The fish was mostly head to was so small . The waitress said the box they received today had small fish in it. Ok one would think put 2 I the plate as they are usually twice the size . But nope just one very small fish. As well we ordered chips and salsa . The Salsa had no flavor was the consistency of baby food. I was hoping for fresh made chunky salsa. I think the passion for fresh made has been lost in this out once favorite place to go.

This is the best Mexican food I've had the pleasure of experiencing in nearly two and a half decade in Calgary
