One of the best Japanese restaurants in Calgary. The service is good and very friendly. We got the seasoned black cod, which was very tender and something you're not likely to find elsewhere in the city. The rolls are delicious as well. The spicy tuna is actually spicy and the rest of the rolls we got were well above average in comparison with other places in Calgary. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

One of my favourite sushi spots in town. Unfortunately I was in the parking lot and wanted to order 2 spicy tuna rolls at 1:46 and change, and they shut me down because I was over 60 seconds too late. It's a shame because I have sent every friend I know here since they opened, and given them a few loyal customers that I switched over from their other favourite sushi spots. Seems to me like because they've got a good reputation that they don't care about upsetting a customer and I feel that's reflected on some of the other reviews. I'm obviously going to come back but I'm just frustrated at how nonchalant they are with displeased customers like it doesn't phase them at all.

Excellent Japanese food, good atmosphere but you're going to pay for the quality and expertise. Love the bites of food that they make but it's definitely expensive enough that it's not our 'go to' Japanese place. Everything is presented beautiful and the flavours authentic and straight out of some of the homestyle cooking we look for.. alternatively they also have some super tasty rolls.

Excellent Japanese restaurant in the middle of Rotal oak shopping district. First impression is clean and modern place with cozy atmosphere. I was immediately greeted and seated. Soon this place had waiting time which shows this place is popular. We ordered bunch of sushi platter with some chicken and oyster appetizers. Food was prepared with care and attention to detail was impeccable. They had an funny way to show daily specials on a moving easel. Overall a very pleasant and tasty experience, I would definitely recommend Roku if you are in the mood of Sushi!

Sashimi quite fair and full in size. Sushi itself consists of relatively smaller rolls but taste is good. Overall pricing somewhat average for Calgary, but higher overall. Atmosphere and staff are very nice. Not quite enough parking in front of the restaurant, but plenty around in the complex
