Wow good!!!! We came to Edmonton to see friends for a few days. We figured we should try the Sawmill in Stony Plain. George met us at the door with a long lost friend kind of greeting. Amy was our waitress. Nice lady. The wings were ok. The dinners we had were unbelievable. The new york strip was cooked perfectly to order and had great flavour. The fish and chips my wife had were great and way huge portions, she could barely eat half of it and took the rest home. Now... The prime rib. WOW the prime rib dinner I had was out of this world. Huge chunk of the best prime rib. I can’t recommend it enough. So overall we are happy with the experience and will go back. Just make sure your hungry because you will have a lot of food on your plate👍👍👍👍👍

First time to the Sawmill with my wife and best friend out from Nova Scotia. Colour us impressed. The entire experience was just perfect. We were seated in a comfortable booth quite quickly, and our server was thee immediately. Great menu with a wide selection. Fresh baked buns that were to die for. The prime rib was melt in your mouth. And Yorkshire Puddings that had to be brought to the table with a crane (ok slight exaggeration but they were huge) yet were wonderfully fluffy inside. Poor Kevin is back in Nova Scotia but we will definitely be back to the Sawmill. We were devoted Keg fans, the king may have been dethroned.

I don’t come to Stony Plain often but have been here twice in the last 6 weeks. Both times I tried to eat a meal here. The first time was a Friday night at 9pm they wouldn’t seat us even though the closing time is 11. The second time was this evening. 8:34 and they were no longer sitting anyone. Needless to say I won’t be fooled a 3rd time.

My filet was amazing. Calamari was very tender. I would eat here everyday if I could afford it. It is expensive but worth every penny!

The service was great and my meal was amazing, however, my friends stake was cooked wrong twice and the manager agreed that it was cooked incorrectly upon seeing the second steak (he never saw the 1st one) yet didn't offer a free dessert or anything to compensate for it. Luckily my friend likes rare (cold in the middle) steak.
