This was my first experience at this restaurant. I believe it will be my last for a long time. The food was plentiful, but also was the price. I do not mind paying a high price for food that is plentiful and good. It was an unfortunate experience for a first time visit. The fish was plentiful, but cold, the fries must have been the last of the batch, because it consisted mostly of broken half pieces, and also very cold...... I say that because the ketchup on the table was warmer than the fish and chips........ I gave a two star because if nothing else, the clam chowder was delicious and tongue burning hot..... Very expensive, and poor experience.

Overall a great experience. It was busy and so they happened to forget about my mom's hot water but other than that it was great. They have a variety of foods to choose from, though mostly fish-related.

Food was great but service is horrible. Got the wrong side with my order and waitress gave mad attitude about me letting her know I ordered salad not fries then gave me the salad with no dressing and again got annoyed and rude when I asked for dressing. First and last time I eat there. Was borderline abusive service!!!!

Such amazing fish & chips! We try and get Docherty's weekly although we sometimes miss out on this place because they will close early if they don't have customers. If you are planning on going later in the day, call ahead; they will stay open for you!

Great food..updated decor....a little expensive, but other fish and chip prices are compareable. Monday nights are all you can eat fish.
