It takes a little getting used to the owners personality and he has a lot of personality. But he's honest keeps the place up well and he knows his customers personally it's awesome! The food is just like if you had a good home cooked meal so it's good if you've been away from home. Sometimes they don't make everything on their menu but that's ok since everything with meat there is great. Really though just get the classic it's classic.

Fresh Homemade soups and sweet potato buns among other lunch fare. Good healthy portions at reasonable prices. Hospitable host who will even bring out the 🎸 and sing . Clean premises. Open mike on Monday evenings.

I had a breakfast sandwich. I didn't like it. I ate half and tried to finish the rest but just couldn't. The owner Vern, is a little rough around the edges. He definitely needs customer service training. He basically talks to you like your a child. It was my first time there, and he makes me feel like I don't want to come back again.

The food is fantastic and very well priced. The owner/cook is very straight forward and to the point when describing what you get. Don't expect fancy dining because this is a no-frills dining experience. You're treated like family... If you want a coffee, be prepared to get it yourself 😆 I'll definitely be going back again and introducing my friends to the great food and unique place.

The best home cooking you can get in the Fraser Valley outside of your Grandma's kitchen. I've had nothing but great experiences here especially chatting with Vern. Talked about football one of the first times I went back in 2013 and after that, we were pals! He even went out of his way to show extreme kindness when I was leaving for a multi-year international volunteer program. He offered to leave a tip jar specifically designated for me to help me raise finances. I didn't take him up on the offer but I was incredibly thankful nonetheless! Great guy, great food!
