Kojan is always lovely♡ I've been going to this restaurant for 3 years now, since I was in high school. The staff used to remember me and my dance team whenever we would come in and often give us food on the house. Unfortunately the management changed so the same people who knew us are no longer there, but the quality of the food is the same (if not better) and the workers are very kind. The music is always really good too! Since my team did K-Pop dance it was always fun to hear our favorite tracks playing in the restaurant. Super great experience all around!

I had been coming to Kojan for quite some time, and have recommended this place to family and friends in the past- which I regret! Servers were okay; however, the management at this restaurant needs a lot of improvements on their food and customer service skills. As a regular, I made an order to-go on a menu that I was familiar with. But I when I brought it home, I soon realized they changed up the entire presentation and quality of the food by replacing majority of the meat to cheap veggies without informing me. The chicken was incredibly mushy as if they had boiled it in water after deep frying it. Furthermore, it had a disgusting, inedible powdery-like texture (incredibly gross). So I contacted the restaurant to speak to the staff in regards to how disappointing the food was. No apologies were expressed, and what I could hear over the phone was the owner, the chef, and the server tossing the phone among each other as they were unwilling to take responsibility in resolving the issue! At one point, the owner and chef put the blame on me for requesting the food to be prepared a little bit spicier, which clearly shows how incompetent they are with their cooking and customer service skills. Eventually, I had to drive back to return their inedible food. Never will I forget the owner's glares and intolerable attitude for bringing back the food that was already "touched/eaten." The owner and chef are unprofessional, unskilled, incompetent people who clearly don't know how to run a local business. I would give them a negative star if there was such an option. Regardless, I will never waste anymore time and money at this restaurant!

Continuing my sushi tour of Abbotsford and another strike out! Doesn't seem like they serve much sushi and my saba (I know, very brave) was inedible. The spicy tuna roll was really strange and even the albacore tuna was sub-par. If you're into huge rolls with various sauces and heaping plates of tempura, this looks like a good bet. If you are into sushi, give it a miss.

Great date spot! First of all - this place is beautiful. It use to (clearly) be an Italian place, but has been revamped to be a sushi restaurant. The ceiling is decorated with cherry blossoms that have stolen my heart!! My food was good, and service was friendly, though it was a little slow. I thought this was odd because I came during the earlier end of dinner time, so the restaurant was mostly empty. Additionally, we got a 10% off coupon for the dessert place nextdoor, which was also splendid, though expensive.

Kojan has been our go-to sushi restaurant for the past 4 years. Since then, they seem to change something and surprise us every time. Their decor, their menu, even their food items vary every time we go in. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the staff is always friendly and courteous. I recommend them to everyone I meet, at this point. If you haven't tried them, you're missing out!
