I usually have nice service, but today was surprising. The wait to have our drink order taken too do long, it ended up getting taken work our lunch order. As well, or food ended up taking a while to come out of the kitchen, but my teriyaki chicken was barely room temperature. I'm pretty weary of chicken that isn't up to temp these days after getting food poisoning, so I asked if I could get a new order. They kindly brought me a new order, which was great. However, my friend and I waited (again) for a very long time after we finished eating when we just wanted to ask for boxes to go and the bills. My guess was that it was easy to forget about us because the booth we were in was hidden behind a wall, but I don't know if that's really a good excuse. Definitely not normal for Tomo.

Food tastes real and fresh but occasionally lacks a little in flavour, nothing a little soy sauce can't fix. Tempura was good, but didn't have a great variety. Gomae felt like it was taken out of the fridge. Overall a quality experience, I can see why they were busy, but not my favourite.

Used to be good. Now there’s better options. The fish is often still frozen when it is served.

Pretty unhappy with this place. You wouldn't think it would be too hard to fill an order for a yam roĺl and miso soup. I went in, ordered and paid. Got my order and left. When I got to my destination I found it was a California roll and soup. So I had soup for dinner. Not impressed.
