One of the best desserts I've had in a long time! Edit: It had been a while since I've been back to Araxi, too many solid dining options in Whistler. Luckily it's shoulder season and they had a set menu of five courses for $36. Best bang for your buck, the food was outstanding, great flavours and plate presentation. If I were to find a fault, I would say that a few dishes where slightly under seasoned. The spicy margherita was a great starter and the rhubarb dessert was the perfect ending. Good, attentive and friendly service. With regards to the reservation, they offered me 5:30 or 8:30, I picked the earlier option, but over 1/3 of the restaurant was empty and remained so until I left. Slightly irritating!

The presentation is awesome. Great creative menu. Fine dinning experience., for sure. Foods okay not worth the price. Steak was good though. Great customer service with table service. Truffle fries are over the top!! Various desserts available. I wish they had some light music being played in the background. It was way to empty and quiet when we were there. price bar: $$$$

Underwhelmed & disappointed. FOOD Good: squash soup was balanced and substantive. Halibut was perfectly cooked. Bad: Pork belly was tough, had to wrestle it apart with my cutlery. Halibut lacked seasoning. White bean puree was bland. Raspberry coulee was too tart. SERVICE Good: server was friendly Bad: we were only checked on for the appetizer; no one came over to check on any of the subsequent dishes. Various servers repeatedly set water pitchers and dishes forcefully and loudly onto a shelf very close to my head, as if not aware that there were guests seated immediately adjacent. GENERAL Good: table was set nicely, lighting and decor was pleasant. Bad: shelf and wine bottles next to our table were covered in dust, clearly hadn't been dusted in ages. Men's washroom was a mess (urine all over the floor, pubic hairs on the toilet seat). Women's washroom was out of hand soap. There was a very loud group of ladies, possibly intoxicated, hooting and hollering at the next table. Have had many better dining experiences. Won't return.

Enjoyed a five course meal with my partner here, very tasty. We arrived earlier than dinner service and waited in the bar for our table. Bar service was great, he had a beer he enjoyed and the bartender kindly made a non-alcoholic version of one of their cocktails as I'm expecting. Had the fries as a snack while we waited, very good. Dinner service was excellent. Waiter was attentive and very professional. All of our dishes were excellent. The lamb was so tender. We weren't expecting to like the parsnip soup as we're both not fans of it but were pleasantly surprised with how delish it was. I recommend checking it out, we would go back again for sure.

Great space, Wonderful food. We both had seafood and all was great. VERY casual attire, not surprising I guess as we were all? tourist.
