I was hooked from the first day I stepped inside Nikkei Ramen-ya (many months ago). The food is fresh (very evident that they use local produce), expertly prepared and consistently delicious. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, one of the Valley's very best. An easy, well deserved, five stars.

After reading all the positive reviews, I was really excited to eat here. Unfortunately the meal was pretty disappointing. The broth was bland and both the pork belly and lobster were over cooked. The only saving grace of the meal were the noodles. About a third of the menu was sold out when we arrived around 430, so that also didn’t leave much room for options. Despite the meal itself, the staff were friendly and the place was really clean. Hopefully this was just an off day for the restaurant.

On par with Jun-Men Ramen Bar in Manhattan. Nikkei Ramen-ya has a variety of light or rich homemade broths which are all delicious. The best marinated soft-boiled egg ever. Highly recommended. Tip is already included in price.

Smaller place with a cozy vibe. Friendly staff and relatively fast service. They do one thing and they do it extremely well. Nikkei Ramen-ya has by far the best ramen I have ever tasted in Canada. It felt like I was back in Japan. The pulled pork has to be my favorite, and I would recommend getting an egg (definitely worth the $2). One thing I really appreciated while I was there was the list of translations and definitions about the different types of ramen and what toppings come on it. I will absolutely be back again. And again.

This is hands down the best ramen on the island. Everything is hand done and delicious. You get a top up of extra noodles if you don't do ish all your broth the first go.
