We went out for a late afternoon stroll through the neighborhood near the hotel we were staying at and stumbled upon this hidden treasure. I ordered the seafood chowder a d my husband had the Pacific salmon with risotto. Incredibly delicious!!! All the staff we interacted with were wonderful. Highly recommended. Will come again when we're back in the area.

I visit this area often and have eaten at Avenue Bistro a few times. This most recent time I ordered takeout. From the moment I called, I was answered with a wonderful greeting, knowledgeable service, they offered me the timing for pickup. I was wonderfully greeted when I entered. My food was ready. I had the veggie burger and a green salad. The salad was fresh and very attractively prepared. the green goddess dressing was delicious. And that veggie burger rocked my world! Best one I have ever had. The bun was fresh and soft. The burger had a lovely smokiness to it with the creamy goat cheese and beautiful roasted veg. So good! Reasonable prices for the quality for sure.

I've been to the Avenue Bistro twice for lunch and absolutely love this place. After an amazing first visit I was so eager to have their food on the second visit that when it arrived at the table I completely forgot to take a picture for you. Oh well, maybe next time if they can pry the food out of my hands. On the first visit I had the Forager pizza. Amazing. About as good as any I've had anywhere. My wife had the Cheddar Stuffed Burger which may be the best burger either of us has had. I know that's a big claim, but we can't think of any others as good. During the second visit I had one of the specials which was a lamb burger so that may be a little hard to find again while my wife had the Cheddar Stuffed Burger again. Yes it is that good. The burgers come in a beautiful light brioche bun and are cooked perfectly and amazingly flavourful. The staff is great. Friendly, knowledgeable and aren't in your face all the time, they just seem to appear when you need something. I'd love to try some other restaurants in Comox, but it's going to be hard after the Avenue Bistro.

Avenue is easily one of the top 3 restaurants in the Comox Valley. The food is outstanding, I've never had a bad meal, nor have I ever been with someone else who has. They have a creative and fresh menu, are happy to accommodate to the best of their abilities and have excellent service. It is easily my go-to place when I visit the valley. I always leave satisfied, full and happy. Keep doing what you're doing Avenue!

Good food. My favourite goto restaurant to entertain out of town guests. Locally sourced food complimented with local wines and beers.
