I love the native artifacts and the ambiance of the restaurant. Although a bit tight space-wise, the staff's friendly faces and good service compensate for that. Besides, one can enjoy observing the variety of objects hanging from roof and pictures on the wall. It could get very busy during the weekend and morning brunch. So prepare to wait a bit to get a table. Unless you are willing to sit at the bar. I enjoy their classic breakfast and good quality coffee. They use organic eggs, Yukon bacon, and their hashbrown is lovely. Usually Chuck, the owner, is at the front and making sure everything is running smoothly. I have tried SUNRISE SPECIAL, YUKON-STYLE BACON & EGGS, EGGS BENEDICT, EGGS FLORENTINE, and MIXED GRILL, from their breakfast menu and enjoyed all of them. The mix grill is a huge dish and one can not usually finish it. I also tried CHIEF AUGUST JACK BURGER and I cannot say I loved that one as it was a bit dry for me. All and all, it is an interesting cozy restaurant with a lot of character to check out. Definitely recommend it.

We ate here while visiting Vancouver. We really enjoyed burgers and the legendary cake! we were also surprised to find some vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. Prices are good as well! We enjoyed learning history of this place and happy that we had an honour to eat here. Staff and the owner are exceptional!

Chuck! You’re the man 👍🏼 Many plates of good feed- huge portions, reasonable prices. Staff are a little clumsy but they’re young and making a easy buck- they will learn. Always a quick and easy run through here, surely you’ll enjoy the stop too. Many good heritage and history to look at while you’re here.

It is what it is. And it is good. I always get the omelette which always arrives hot and fast. Quality is the same every time. Can't argue with that. I've had better coffee, but that's not why I go. Quick, good, consistent and friendly.

l have to recognize that this is a great place for a wonderful family classic breakfast. Tomahawk is even attended and run by its owner., what amazing experience. With Real and authentic native artifacts decorating the entire restaurant. I really love it!.
