Don't expect fine dining ... this is great, fill your belly fare. I ended up here by happenstance and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. If you're heading to Butchart Gardens and need a good fill, it's worth a quick detour.

I was very impressed with this little gem. Home style cooking and atmosphere. Every single person we met was very happy and service oriented. This is by far one of the best places to take a younger child. I took my three year old and there was a ton to entertain her. Toys at the front door, coloring pages. Very kid friendly. A gentleman, could have been the owner came over and started chatting with my child. He said I better get her some fruit, food could take 15 minutes. He had a small bowl of fruit right away for her and didn’t charge us for it. They have draft beer on tap which I had a glass with my homemade mushroom soup. There menu looked amazing. This place is top notch. I’d give it a six star if I could. Don’t change a thing. This place is so great!

Friendly family owned and operated neighborhood restaurant that is a popular fixture in the local community. Food is good and plentiful, fairly priced, and served with a smile. Child and handicapped friendly too.

Very family friendly restaurant. Stopped by after going to Butchart Gardens in the morning. Staff are friendly and the food is very homey. My friend had the beef stew and it looked very good.

Really impressed! I was blown away by the variety of food I had with my meal- the side choices are great! All for good value and with good service as well... it was my first time there and I'll definitely be returning :)
