Enjoyed the food and great staff and dining experience. Food came out quick and wasn't oily like other fish and chips places. It was also a good place to bring our daughter because they had a kids menu and actually payed attention to her unlike other places we have been to.

Good, friendly service. Separate vegan menu with highlighted items. (May 2018) No longer have the black bean burger, but plenty of other vegan choices, including the soup of the day (yam, coconut milk on the day I was there), burgers, wraps and "fish" with a delicious, crispy batter and tartar sauce. I hear they also have soft-serve vegan ice creams, vanilla and pineapple.

My 81 year old senior mom recently came to Fish on Fifth for lunch. She was all by herself. She ordered a piece of fish and some chips for her lunch. The young waitress took her order, came back with my Mom's meal and then left. My Mom called the waitress because the young waitress forgot to set my Mom up with some cutlery, so she could eat her meal. The waitress had a nasty look on her face; that she had to get my Mom her cutlery. She made my Mom feel uncomfortable and had an attitude and made my Mom feel like she was a bother to this young waitress. My Mom is a frequent patron at Fish on Fifth and has never had a problem like this before. My Mom told me about the incident and did not want to make a big deal about this. Obviously, this young waitress was having a rushed day, but seriously, treat your customers with some respect. Stop the attitude or you will lose customers. Do not take your rushed or bad day on seniors!

At way too much. The fried artichoke appy was unique and well worth trying. We each ordered a bowl of soup, homemade and delicious. We will have to come back!

I ordered take out. paid for extra tater. When I got home I realized we did not have any tarter. I called to ask if anything could be done, as driving all the way back was not an option. The server was not willing to do anything for the inconvenience. When I said "i certainly will not be back" she hung up on me... I just wanted an apology. I am appalled with the service. Coming from someone who works in customer service.
