A customer at the store I work at named Hazel and Steve from Montana highly recommended me to try this restaurant. They told me a story about the owners and how they are close friends who lived in Switzerland before moving to Canada years ago. I decided to promptly check it out and hastily arranged a dinner with my family. Great food with good prices for what you get. Much cheaper than when I went to Switzerland with my father. Turns out i ate schnitzel there 3 years ago on the exact same day I went to this restaurant here. The only thing is the seating is a little squishy. The decor and the atmosphere screams “Switzerland”! However it is a little cramped. Again great food, you MUST check it out for an authentic Swiss experience. And do try the peopercorn schnitzel!

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere and outstanding service. The pork schnitzel with mushroom sauce is simply to die for. I visit Bistro Suisse whenever I can!

Amazing, quiet and rustic atmosphere! I lived in Germany for 4 years and the food here is extremely authentic and delicious! The Basil Onion pie was just like I used to eat when I lived there, and the schnitzel and spaetzle is the real deal... Made me miss those days. Service was great and super friendly - even conversed in German a little! Will definitely be back!

Pleasant europeanish decor and food (no idea how authentically Swiss but if they are faking, it is a nice faux Swiss). They had a whole page (both sides) devoted to potato pancakes with cheese and couple fried eggs with a wide variety of more or less breakfasty additions (hence the need for a separate menu with two sides). I had the one that looks and tastes like a from freshly ground meat hamburger but apparently is a Danish thing with a name I am unable to reproduce from memory. The potato pancake was how I make them, sort of between shredded and mashed with just enough stuff (I use milk, egg and flour) to hold them together, keep a bit moist and brown up nicely (apology to the chief, I'm sure there is more to it than that). They have another menu with a nice variety of Canadian and European dishes. Judy had Crab cakes which she really enjoyed. Swiss snow crabs? They had lots of rustic Swiss artifacts and pictures on the walls. Several smallish antlered skulls. Wish we had come for supper, we would have gotten menus with an attached cow bell.
