I remember visiting The One a few times many years ago, when their drinks were huge as always but tasted mediocre, so I was pleasantly surprised when their drinks actually taste pretty good now. Unfortunately, that was the only plus side of my visit as this time the food wasn't up to par. I got the Deep Fried Tofu with Spicy Ground Pork Sauce meal set. I've had this dish and similar dishes at other places before, so I knew what I should've been expecting and I didn't expect to be overwhelmed by the saltiness of every bite. In fact, everything in that picture was salty except for the rice and that tomato and egg side dish. You either need to buy a drink or keep asking for water refills because of the saltiness. I wish I ordered the beef curry like my boyfriend did, since that one was nice and mild (and not salty). Rating them 3/5 stars to be fair because even though most of my food was salty, I know they can make mild dishes like the beef curry. Would've rated higher if they either just left a pitcher of water at the table or made sure to refill our cups once they noticed they were empty, because I would have to stop eating every time I had no more water. I guess you are what you eat since now I'm feeling salty about the experience and probably won't be coming back any time soon.

They are famous for their tower slush, and probably at least two people can finish that drink. Their dishes are generally large. I usually get their fried rice pepper chicken nuggets and it's delicious. The atmosphere is geared towards the younger crowd, but everyone should try that place. Their service varies depending on the hour and their busyness, but I would say it's decent; hence, I took gave them 4 stars. If you ever want a Taiwanese version of Antons (pasta restaurant on Hastings), then this is the place to go.

Ordered chicken nuggets on rice combo for pick up. Was fairly easy as the menu can be found on their website. The person who took my order was clear and courteous. Definitely will order from here again.

Good value for the price. Humongous portions that's good enough for 2 people. Their chicken nuggets fried rice is delicious. Service could be better though - their servers are not responsive and it takes forever to get tea refills.

The one and only. Some of the highest towering bubble teas I've seen. The go to dish for me is the deep fried chicken nugget fried rice, just something I always get along with the beef curry on occasions. With the huge menu it's hard to try everything so I just stick with those things. For the price it isn't bad and the service is great with the food coming out decently quick. The menu is just huge and confusing at times. Other than that everything is great. Edit: the wait times can actually vary from night to night, we were wait long times some nights so just beware.
