I never remembered it being so dark and dim. A bit hard to see. Had the chicken and baby back ribs and then tasted the chicken pot pie. I feel I have better memories of the place. The decor hasn’t changed since 1990. But staff are friendly. I’d say the baby back ribs are a 2.5. The chicken is small but tasty, 3.5. The pot pie doesn’t compare to the white spot pot pie and is similar to the Costco one except the price is obviously a lot more. I had a good time and it was a good experience. It wasn’t busy which is nice- usually they are! I think it’s a good place for families just wish they would update the decor and add a bit more pizazz to the food :)

This place is mediocre. I went here for dinner. I don't know what it is about this place, but I'm just not a fan. I had the chicken with shrimp entree. The rice was ok, kinda flat in flavor. The chicken really disappointed me, especially for a rotisserie chicken place; I swear you could get better chicken at a supermarket. The portion size was small and the price was kinda expensive. Definitely should have chosen to go to the Earls next door. I think this place is meant for the senior population, they at least would appreciate this place more then the younger crowd.

Had the chicken and rib dinner tonight with the baked potato. It was perfect, so good I feel like I want to go back tomorrow night and have the same thing! We had the fudge cake for dessert and it was the best chocolate cake I have had in a very long time. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this location of Swiss Chalet to anyone considering going there.

Pretty subdued environment. Decor palette is muted pastels and shades of brown. Lacks the design panache of comparable places like White Spot. Chicken predictably good. Roast beef was well done but moistened by tasty jus. Fries soft. Veggies steamed with minimal flavouring. Menu should be updated. Not just the food but the actual printed document, which looks dated and feels sticky.

I was excited after the commercials coming here, but the food was a little bit uninspiring. I forget what I had, it was like a beef sandwich with sauce? It was alright. Its not something that I would crave or go out of my way to come back, but I wouldnt be unhappy if I came here.
