This is probably the most unique Japanese restaurant in the lower mainland in a very positive way. They make home cooked style Japanese food that you don't see all in one place. Their menu changes pretty regularly so it's always a bit different. Food tastes quite good, and the prices are quite good.

Good service, good food. Always enjoy my experiences at the cafe. I have only been here a handful of times over the last decade and my memories are always similar (enjoyable). Does get busy, but worth the wait.

Really enjoy this place. Located in a senior residence, they have two sittings, one for lunch and dinner, reasonably priced Japanese dishes. Service is good, must try if you're in the area

Truly a hidden gem. To avoid a longer wait time, I recommend going when they open or ordering takeout. I love the concept of this restaurant and their staff are quite friendly. They have a separate section for seniors (that live there?) - quite lovely to see!

This is Vancouver's hidden secret: the Best Japanese restaurant in BC. Authentic and very good food. Save your money (from other Japanese restos) and just eat here. You can't go wrong.
