Stopped in for an early Saturday evening at the pub and sat outside to enjoy the marvelous mountain view. We got prompt service at the start and we got our drinks and orders in right away. Food came to us in about 20-30, fairly prompt. However, we did not get our starter that we asked for and one of our dishes had a mix up. No big deal, the waitress quickly took the dish back to fix it, however it did take about 10-15 minutes to fix it. The other person had to start eating to make sure their food didn't go cold. Once the fixed dish came back to us, we inquired about our starter and was told it was on its way. About another 15 minutes later we finished our meal and the waitress returned to take our drinks and dishes. We asked about the starter yet again and she said "Oops, it's on the way now". We waited another 10 minutes before going in to pay the bill. Unfortunately the starter was coming out of the kitchen as we were paying for the bill. They gave us the starter for free, apologized, and made it to go for us. In the end it could have been an off day for them, the food was fairly good, and the staff was fairly pleasant, so it was overall a decent experience.

Good food usually, good people. Would've rated 5 stars if it hadn't been for a rather shocking complaint the business had about some construction that I was a part of; it upsets me because we honestly liked going there a minimum of once per week for several months, and at one time spending hundreds, just to hear that they were blaming us for a loss of business. Very heartbroken.
