I don't think I've had a better martini in all of Canada. And the food is amazing - light, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. To top it off, service was excellent. Very impressive!

The place is a lovely atmosphere, the Buddha beer was delicious, but the pad Thai was so far from pad Thai. Pad Thai should be a balance of sour, salty, and sweet. There was no tamarind (sour), no salty, no sweet; it was more like a low budget teriyaki sauce that tasted like molasses. Lacking the fresh element as well, with the addition of shredded carrot, basil, and bean sprouts, you could really elevate the dish. The spring rolls are very big, and were nice and crispy, but too much cabbage and not enough meat. Loved the dipping sauce for them though. This place could be fantastic, I think they just need to work on being a bit more authentic Thai. I got my food to go, and was super pleased with the environmentally friendly to go containers, so that's also a plus.

Great food and great service. Don't be scared off by the location of the entrance, this place is a must visit. They even make a great dirty martini!

Fantastic food and a nice change from burgers and pizza. The kids loved their noodle bowls (we got em without spice). The portions are huge too! Leftovers were a hit the next day as well.

The food was quite delicious. I was quite satisfied, and even though I had an issue with my food due to an allergy, they had no problems remaking my food and even went so far as to take my dish off the bill. Will definitely be back next time I am in Castlegar.
