My girlfriend and I were in Chemainus during our holiday and went to view the local sights and grab a bite for lunch. She wanted a sandwich from a restaurant across the street so I went to get her one while she shopped. My intention was to go grab a burrito after picking up the sandwich. When I went back across the street the Open sign had been changed to Closed (at 2:45 PM), for a business advertising they are open from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. I guess I'm still figuring out the meaning of "island time" and the hours they actually reflect, what a disappointment. I'd post 0 stars but this site won't allow it, you have to pick at least one.
