Service is good and friendly. Views are nice beside the marina and waterfront. Interior is a little dated and could use a good scrub. We had the Cod and fries -- batter excellent. Fish watery and flavorless. Was a little tough. Haddock wrap -- was told by server it was spicy before we ordered. It was really spicy. Tasted strong of paprika and cayenne. Problem is in a wrap all the ingredients don't always mix. When the avocado came together it was milder. Wife enjoyed it overall.

The two best things about the place are the view, which is beautiful, and the service. The waitress was great. The downside is, for what you get for meals they are overpriced. We paid $63 (including tip) for fish & chips, French onion soup, and a pop. My wife had a burger, which was okay, but nothing special. The fish was supposed to be halibut, but tasted like cod, and was as much batter as fish. The soup was good, but quite salty. I could accept all that, but when I asked for a refill of pop the waitress said there were no free refills, so I had water. Expensive for what you get. We likely won't go back.

Met the owner and had a delightful conversation. Lovely meal served quickly. Really enjoyed the outdoors patio.

You'll end up here ... just let it happen. There's a great view of the harbour and the food ain't half bad. I can usually make it 3-4 hours in Sidney before it's time to head down to the water.

We visited twice here in the past week, not sure why we went back a second time. The first time the food was awful, the kitchen forgot someone’s order which arrived after everyone had eaten and then forgot a dessert as well! Ordered a New York steak and it was tough and old. Used the washroom which did not appear to have been cleaned ina very long time. The second visit was even worse. Ordered halibut which is in season but tasted like it had been leftover from last season! Don’t even get me started on the waitress who was more concerned about cross-fit then service. Will never go back again.
