Glo continues to be our top choice for quality and atmosphere. The food is interesting and well prepared. The servers are attractive and pleasant young adults who want customers to be happy. My only issue is sometimes it can get very noisy probably due to too much volume on music and sports channels. I suggest you make reservations and ask for a quieter location. They are happy to comply.

We were a table of 25, which alot of places will not take. The restaurant was packed and demanding. Our service was superb, with the waitress never really leaving us wanting. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and everyone left pretty darn happy. Obviously this is not the highest end place in Victoria but my two dark beers, (small) tasty maple pear salad, yummy cookie crunch ice cream dessert and main meal that included roasted veggies and pork all came to 56$, including tax. I gave 70$ and felt more than satisfied that I had received my money's worth.

Wonderful place to celebrate a birthday. We were a group of 20 people who came to celebrate a special birthday. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. You didn't even know they were there. Food came quickly and tasted delicious. Thanks for making our evening special.

I absolutely love this restaurant I go here often. The food is always excellent and service is always good. Location is funky with a great Waterfront View and interesting view of a water metal dump to the side. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch.

Victoria has no shortage of fabulous places to eat, so in a city of great food, it's often the atmosphere and customer service that will set a restaurants apart. I came to Glo for a friend's birthday party. The views-- lovely. The company-- phenomenal. The food-- mostly great. My Buddha bowl was delicious-- full of flavour, packed with vegetables. But the service-- not lovely, not phenomenal, and mostly not great. The young woman who took our orders was not unfriendly, but not friendly either. She did the bare minimum required of a server. She took our and filled our water glasses. We waited just shy of an hour for our food-- for a party of nine. The restaurant was not full. Not once during the meal did our server check in to see how we were enjoying our meal. When she did arrive to refill our water glasses and collect our dishes, one of the guests at our table mentioned that the chicken on her salad---a thin, flattened, dry-as-cardboard grilled wedge of breast-- was inedible. Our server said, "You should have mentioned that at the start of the meal." My friend told her that she would have if she'd checked in with her, to which the server responded, "I did check in." My friend tried again, graciously but firmly: "No, you didn't-- not at this end of the table, not with me." To which the server once again replied, "Yes, I did." At this point, you'd think the server would offer to take the cardboard chicken salad off my friend's bill. She did not. Nor did she, upon taking my order, ask if I wanted anything to drink. We have nine witnesses at our table who can attest that the server did not check in with my friend or with our table. My friend spoke to the manager on our way out of the restaurant, and he did apologize for the situation. He offered her a coupon for a free appetizer or dessert, should she want to return to Glo. Does she want to return to Glo? No, Glo. Most restaurants I've been to at the very least cover the cost of a badly-executed meal. Glo, sadly, did not even offer. All this to say, my own meal was great. I'd happily give 4 stars for the Buddha bowl, maybe even inching toward 4.5. We all enjoyed our friend's birthday celebration-- 5-star setting (and 5-star company and conversation). But the unprofessional behaviour of our server-- well, that's where the stars start fizzling and falling and turning this into a two-star review. Until Glo raises its standards for customer service, I won't be back.
