Good food and prices. Went there today for a late lunch at 2:07 pm. The waitress smiled at me through the door and flipped the open sign over. Right next to the sign that says open till 2:30pm

Fabulous sushi, quick service! Other reviewers were correct in their reviews which was what made us give it a try.

When first walking into this place, it did not look good. It is next to McDonald's and Tim Horton's which is a little off putting but i recommend it highly to anyone who is in the area. The prices are fantastic and the lunch combo is really good. Me in my friends had a really positive experience, it is definitely a hidden gem of Comox! Then tuna nigiri had a really nice texture and great flavor as well, definitely one of my favorite items they serve.

It's fresh, hot, tasty and very economical. Seating is limited...my fav sushi restaurant in town...they do reservations as well as take away.

Ahra is hands down the best sushi place in the comox valley. This little hidden gem on the corner of Guthrie and Anderton, by the tims, has the best prices and great sized portions. I've never found a other place that offered so much food for their price. It's a small place with 6 tables so it doesn't get too rowdy and you can enjoy your meal with who you are with without distractions from other tables. The owners and waiting staff are super friendly and helpful as well. PS: they have the best lunch combos I've ever had. From Vancouver to the Island. If you haven't been here yet, you should make it your next stop. They have a few delicious Korean dishes as well.
