Recommended by a friend who grew up in the Coombs area and stopped in here for lunch. We loved German food and all things cheese so naturally we loved it. The German lady owner/operator that greeted us was so warm and lovely. The atmosphere was definitely German, clean, and well thought out. Not the most kid friendly as we have 3 kids (no high chair and expensive china and retail within their reach) but we will be back again!

Fantastic cheeses and cakes! Well worth the stop.

What a fantastic place. The cheese is great, the service fantastic, the place is wonderfully clean. We also stopped for lunch on our journey to Ucluelet on a cold winter day, and wow! This is the comfort food we needed on our journey. A fantastic and hot “hunter schnitzel” and “kebab.” Great flavours, tasted home made by an “Oma” and worth the stop. Plenty of things to observe and look at inside. Great antiques and pictures to observe, but don’t forget it’s a cheese making place. Pick some up, it’s worth it!

First visit early December. Sat outside on the deck in the sunshine with friends. Good coffee and great baked treats.

Cheese was all so yummy! I hope they keep experimenting and finding good flavours. The German lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful.
