You must go inside and experience this for yourself! The walls from floor to ceiling are plastered with memorabilia from Britain. They have a really Unique Interior and everyone should go see it. The food is really good. Service can be extremely slow. I love their cod platter. If you are traveling in this area and you have a family that loves fish and chips this is a destination for you!!

Was there today after the lunchtime rush. Choice of tables, my friend and I went into the lovely ambience of typical Old English. She and I seated in a booth. It's always a pleasure to see all the decor and now they display costumes. (A good full size image of Jamie from Outlander) We had the fish and chips special. Service is excellent. Because it was slower time of day, chatted with owners, John and Mary, as we looked round additions, including English sweet shop. If you want a British meal while in the area, I highly recommend The British Bobby.

It's incredibly kitschy, over the top, the themes are all over the place and yet it is an absolute treasure. Parksville should feel blessed to have such a wonder and the incredible staff who work here! Any place with a leg lamp is worth visiting.

I enjoyed a very nice meat pie here. It was served with "chips" and beans and piping hot too. Nice lunch. This restaurant is more "British" than England is these days. Will be back.

good food, authentic decor, staff seemed preoccupied the day we were there. They were focused on some local clearly repeat customers, whom clearly were getting fantastic service. Guess we have to go more often.
