Kam ding has been my go-to dim sum place for years. The dim sum is great and the staff are very friendly. Good service is rare especially for dim sum restaurants. For lunch, they have dim sum available on their cart so service is really quick. They still offer dim sum at night but it comes by order. I haven't really tried their other dishes (apart from dim sum) but their dim sum always draws me back to their restaurant every time.

If you want that experience where personal space is lost in an array of choices, flavours and conversation, then come here! Have been my dim sum staples for a long long time, and never disappoint. Don't expect the fancy stuff, get the grandma cuisine served to your table! Expect to line up! Is popular for a reason.

I have been a customer of this dim sum for almost seven years. This is the very first dim sum I’ve ever tried since I came to Vancouver. I like it more than any other restaurant. Relaxing and good food. Familiar servers and full of good memories. I can’t say the food is the best since I’m too bias on rating this, but if you are in the neighbourhood, this restaurant should be a must have once in a while.

Great dim sum restaurant. Staff is very friendly. Walked in and it felt just like the old school dim sum restaurants in Hong Kong. Food and service was great.

Love this place. Great dim sum and it's served all day! Good service. Best noodles I've ever had. The place could really use a facelift though. It's outdated and looks grungy.
