Still the favourite pizza place in the tricities. Massive deep dish pizzas with plenty of topping and a deliciously crunch crust—good luck having more than two slices. Flavourful and fresh ingredients really make the pizza it a splurge worth every penny. Try the Greek salad— the top layer is all feta and it comes with a half loaf of garlic bread.

Ordered from them tonight at around 11PM, given that is fairly late on a Saturday night to order I expected it to be delivered rather late and was told 45 minutes to an hour. Was not until 12:26 I received a call asking me if I had cash on me even though I had already said credit... after muttering some swear words over the phone in frustration of forgetting the credit card machine he said alright your food is on it’s way. At this point I’m tired hungry and am forcing myself to stay awake waiting for this food. He finally arrives and I get a phone call because he was not aware to go as I said it was a basement suite when I originally ordered and that was news to him... finally meet him outside to get the food and the delivery man David begins to try and schedule a time when he can later come to get the payment from me because he forgot the credit card machine. At this point beyond frustrated I said no I don’t want to set up a time for you to come back at this time it was already 12:40am so I said you can keep the food or give it to me for free so he took the food and left. I was forced to stay up 40 minutes longer then I had wanted to and didn’t even receive my food because the delivery guy forgot the credit card machine. Unacceptable tried calling restaurant but wasn’t open will be calling tomorrow.

Went to San Remo last night (a Monday night) and was very pleasantly surprised. A very nice little restaurant in a hidden corner of Port Coquitlam. The restaurant was quite busy for a Monday night. Staff and service were great, but what really made the meal notable was the pizza. Was expecting thin crust pizza that is all the rage these days, but instead got Chicago style deep dish pizza - it was unexpected but great. Normally we devour two small pizzas between us, but we only made it 2/3rds through and took the rest home. Great quality and generous toppings. Nice atmosphere as well. Recommended and we will be back.

I was told this is one of the best places for pizza. We ordered two pizzas and honestly, I wasn’t impressed. I could have went to dominoes and save some money.

Before I get to the bad of my visit here to San Remo Restaurant, let me get one thing straight, the food and staff service is great. Food and drinks show up in a timely matter, the staff are friendly... Then there's Bill, the manager, and did he ever ruin my dinner with my girlfriend. Both of us were unable to ignore his constant micro-managing and mistreatment of staff, who were quite capable and friendly individuals. One of the many examples was when he'd asked one of his staff who sat "table #4" because he said he was "going to kill them." I would gather that he said this because an incomplete party of people were sat down. Bill acts as a host, bartender, server, and as a professional at embarrassing his staff in front of customers. 9/10 would recommend for the food and staff. Would not recommend and will not go back until management is taught some manners.
