A nice pub in the middle of Port Moody. It has some good social vibe. You may not find a wide variety of beers and the menu is also short and precise but the quality of items are too good. I did try their social Lager and their potato crusted Cod. The cod was awesome with some almond rice and salads on the side a perfect lunch. Good for group meetups and hangouts. The bartenders and the servers are very friendly too.

I have gone to Browns quite a bit in my life in Coquitlam. I would say that the food is fairly good, a bit above average. I suppose the real reason I really go is the space. The Newport location has a lovely patio with a fire pit that really sets the mood when one begins to sip on their wine and dine. I would really recommend this place when the patio opens during the spring season, otherwise the inside just changes the atmosphere. As far as the staff goes, they've really been nice and well trained. I have no complaints about the staff, the waiters and waitresses have been nothing but gracious. However, I would only recommend a few dishes otherwise the food is not spectacular. The burgers are pretty good and my personal favorite is the chicken with jasmine rice.

I come in I asked for one beer and sit down to be told that I have to move for some customers that are not here apparently they reserved seats for customers that didn't request the seats to be reserved I feel because I'm black I have to play musical chairs on my first visit and after I told her I will not move I will have my beer and move when more people come no problem ... but then it was a problem because the manager had to come out to tell me I was giving attitude so I told her the same thing so I told the staff I will have my one beer and I will move when more people show I'm not too sure but if you come to this bar and you have any pigmentation to you... you will be required to play musical chairs with no limit on how many times you have to move

We needed somewhere to go this morning for drinks and brunch after our friends had their legal JOP wedding ceremony in port moody. The manager brought us a bottle of champagne instantly, it was such a nice and sweet thing to do. Service, food and the drinks were great. We'll definitely be back to enjoy the patio and the service again soon!

The beef dip sandwich is my favourite and look forward to it everytime. This location is right in Newport Village. Great atmosphere and solid outdoor seating.
