Went here for lunch today. 3 stars is pretty accurate. We sat in the lounge as the patio was unfortunately closed, our server was fantastic and very attentive. Food took quite a while especially for going in at a quiet time (3pm). We ordered off the regular menu, food was good but not amazing and the portions were very tiny for the price. Expected more, not on par with something like The Keg or even Browns/Cactus which come in better priced. Will probably be back as it’s so close to home for us and wasn’t terrible, will probably just go back for happy hour appies and patio drinks next time though.

We came here several times and have always had a good time. Today was very different. We booked this reservations several weeks in advance. It is Mother’s Day today. We had requested a window seat table as we had guests from France visiting and wanted to give a good impression of this restaurant. As we were walking towards the tables we were offered a round table quite a ways from the window. We saw an unoccupied table by the window with 6 chairs. We asked for that and the server was rude and told us they can’t change what was already planned/reserved. We reserved too!! Anyway, we sat. Our menus we noticed were different, prices were jacked up! We noticed the unoccupied table was now half occupied, AND their bread has already been served - not us! Also, with wanting to view the waters - ha, all the blinds are being brought down. This is just the beginning of our night. We know to not come back here again.

The decor here is beautiful and very west coast. Huge fireplace makes the whole place seem warm and inviting. The service was quick and decent. The food was very well done and the selection on the menu features many different seafood options, including a dish with curry and a couple pasta seafood dishes. So great variety. The only thing I didn't like is that the venue is massive and basically one HUGE room full of tables with nothing to divide or break the room up. So when it is packed it is loud and doesn't feel particularly intimate or romantic.

I had the ribs and it was good. Server was good. The only complaint I have is that the food takes too long to come out. My brother ordered the sirloin and it was too tough and grissely...so the waiter had another steak made. The replacement was way better. We were happy with them correcting the problem.

As pleasant as the wait staff are, ours was not particularly attentive. Good food. Started to get loud at the end of our meal; good time to get out!
