Small cozy restaurant. The place is clean and service is good. Prices are slighly high. I ordred beef eriyaki and it was almost cold and that was a little disappointing. The chirashi don was a little small but the fish was fresh.

After eating here on several occasions I wonder at the disparity in reviews for this restaurant with a broad swing from very good to really poor. My experience does not reflect that at all, the food has always been really good, the service excellent and the prices reasonable. The degree of negativity in some of the comments makes me think the reviews were not so much about the food or service as much as something personal. In any case, try it and judge for yourself, let the food speak for itself!

This place has new owners now but they are still able to maintain close to the level of quality as the previous owners. The head sushi chef behind the bar is super nice and engaging. After going a few more times and remembering me he would give us a few complimentary creations he is working on. The place isn't that big and it can get quite cramped - but its nice and cozy.

wanted a quick bite. Saturday at 5pm. sat at the bar. No one at the restaurant. ordered the California roll and Aburi set. Chef came out from kitchen, he was putting music on from his phone. turned around and started making my sushi. i said excuse me. you just touched your phone. he seemed like he didnt know what i am talking about at that moment. but he did go to the sink to "wet" his hands, not sure if he actually "washed" it. i am now eating a California roll with no avocado. the aburi set...... supposed to get three different kind of fish, which i did. but he put same sauce on top of all three of them. end up tasting pretty much the same.
