We just had supper there in early May 2018. We each had a wiener schnitzel meal, coffees, and shared a crepes dessert. We were so full! The food and service were excellent, and the bill came to less than $70 (Canadian). So for those who want to have a barometer regarding the price, there it is :). Anyways, as mentioned, the food was great and service were very respectful. We were served very well by the husband and wife owners/team. When we have been lucky enough to go to the Citadella Restaurant in Radium, we have always been given lots of time to eat and enjoy our meal. We appreciate traditional old style European service and cooking, and we never take it for granted. Sadly, there are fewer and fewer immigrants coming from the old-countries. We really treasure the ones who have come to Canada, have made a life here, and make wonderful meals for us! Edith and Steven, thanks for helping to build Canada, and cook wonderful meals for both locals and tourists :). We will be returning to Citadella for lovely meals in the future! :). nagyon szépen köszönjük

I want to give a really positive review for this restaurant but... On the plus side, the view from the outside patio is outstanding. The food is pretty good. The downside. The whole place is really old. The wooden patio is old and really needs to be rebuilt. The waitress (owner's wife?) is charming but not very good at the job of taking orders or attending to tables. The cook (owner?) produces good food but seems to cook like a home chef rather than a trained restaurant chef meaning dishes are long in coming. Not a bad thing as everything is fresh but orders aren't coordinated with the other orders from your table.

Great view, and the food was good, but nothing special. Service was good but impersonal.

We come as a family of six from Alberta two times a year. We love the food, it is a highlight of our trips for the kids, and have always been very comfortable when we have stayed in the cozy hotel. The owners are lovely. In over 8 years coming out, we have had no complaints.

We've been coming here for years now and its always an excellent experience! The food is always freshly made to order and amazingly delicious. The owners are beyond friendly and always greet us with a smile and make us feel at home. The schnitzel is the best! It's tough to try something else because it is SOOOO good but, I have never left disappointed by any of the other tasty Hungarian dishes. We will be back! Again and again and again... Köszönöm
