We absolutely loved this place! You order at the counter to save any sort of mix ups or wait times. The food was great and portions were awesome. Loved the potatoes. Very reasonable prices and their menu is amazing. I'd love to go back and try more when we revisit the island.

Amazing breakfast served until 3pm! The #1 with potato cakes is one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. As other reviewers have noted it is a bit pricey - $3 for a side of half an avocado, for example, but as others have also noted the quality is excellent.

I’m sitting here now all happy and full and wanted to write a review right away! Food is great, decor is really nice (love the art!), and the food is really great. I’m used to eating at the amazing offerings in Victoria, so the prices and selection were as impressive as I’m used to. I really appreciated the kitchen checking ingredients for me for an allergy. I’ll be back here again, next time I’m in Nanaimo.

Solid 4+. Be prepared to walk a bit in order to find parking. Grab your menus from the bin and line up to order. Make sure someone guards your spots at the table as people will take your seat during a busy breakfast or lunch run! The food is fantastic quality with emphasis on local and organic. The service is decent but it's geared more towards serve yourself. A but on the pricy side but quality comes at a cost. You can also find delicious coffee beverages and a small selection of beer. 🍻

Nice variety of local foods to eat. It gets busy though! It can be hard to find a table during the lunch rush. Breakfast is good, lunch is good, bring someone along and I'm sure you can find something you like
