Incredible dining experience. Best vegetarian burger I’ve ever tasted, and the curried perogies are phenomenal! Also. I left my cell phone there, travelled back to Vancouver Island without realizing (face palm) and the restaurant owner sent it to me - free of charge! So grateful for wonder human beings in this world who make delicious food and have kind hearts ❣️

Cute local, out of the way restaurant. Lovely outdoor patio with private yard. Not inexpensive but the food is good and mostly locally sourced. Gluten free and vegetarian options.

Loved this restaurant! Very good menu and very well executed. Excellent service. We would definitely return next time we're on the Sunshine Coast.

I ordered the special, beet cake with humus and avocado. It was delicious and so healthy. My husband had the soup and sandwich, great tomato basil soup and very tasty provolone and salami sandwich. This was recommended by a lady in the ferry. She was right - delisciusly healthy. Thank you.

I was in for breakfast yesterday. It was busy, but no line ups for tables and 3 servers working. We waited for 15 minutes before someone even acknowledged us sitting there even though we had been walked past several times. A table got seated next to us and was served within a few minutes. I mentioned something to one of the girls and it was met with attitude. I have grown up in Gibsons and have been going to the Gumboot for at least 17 years and this was the absolute worst service I have ever received. I had to ask for our order to be taken twice, then we waited at least 45 minutes to get our food. When I asked the blonde curly haired server, she gave me attitude for asking if she was able to check how much longer our food would take. It would have gone a long ways for her to have acknowledged it was taking a long time, our drinks and water jug were empty for those 45 minutes we waited. A smile would have gone a long ways instead of giving me attitude for asking about our order.
