Best brunch, coffee, lunch, pastries on Bowen hands down. When anyone asks for recommendations of where to go on the island this is my #1 suggestion and I always try to convince them it's worth the hike up the hill! Not only is all the food fanastic but the view is lovely and there are so many other great shops to see up in Artisan Square. Make sure you get a Mt. Gardner cookie to go!

First trip to Bowen and first place to grab a coffee and croissant.. Perfect laid back vibe for Bowen and a nice outdoor area to enjoy a leisurely bite.. Ran into someone we knew from Vancouver which I imagine happens a lot here.. No Starbucks no problem..

If you’re visiting Artisan Square while on Bowen then this place is a must. The croissants are freshly made and there a plenty of options for every type of eater. This ham and cheese croissant was the best I have ever had.

A cosy and friendly cafe. They have a large menu of meat, vegetarian and vegan meals. You can get different kinds of muffins with very nice coffee or tea. We had their Shepherds Pie. It came with small side salad. The pie was super, and I don't remember having one this good for sometime. The place is casual and the service was good.
