This place is good Greek food. The calamari was really well seasoned and tender. My friend had the moussaka that was really good as well. Good authentic seasoning and spices. They also have a good wine list (though I went for a beer) and local brews on tap. The room is also really neat. Lots of seating and a couple private areas for functions. I liked the atmosphere. I'd recommend this place for some good homey Greek food.

Went there this past week. Had the trio of puff pastry appies. They were good, but one. However I just don't think that one was my taste is all. The beet and roasted garlic salad with Macedonian feta was AMAZING. When the main meal came, however, it was a huge disappointment. I'd been salivating over the idea of Moussaka. I've eaten plenty of good Moussaka in the past. The potatoes were old, the rice was super bland (no flavour whatsoever) the veg was soggy and wet and the Moussaka was not good at all. Not tasty, old potatoes. Uh-uh...not at $23 a plate anyway. It's not the first time I've been quite disappointed by Theo's. I don't understand what all the hype us about.

Excellent!! I just went with my boyfriend after a recommendation from a friend. We got the seafood platter for two and with a glass of wine for myself and a greek beer for my boyfriend. Fairly priced and the seafood was cooked in a way we'd never had before! I liked oysters before but now I love them! Service and atmosphere was lovely.

We went to Theo's for our Valentine's dinner and had another excellent meal and experience. We had the Platter for two and had more than enough to eat with a wide and varied selection of Greek dishes. I think the Platter cost us about $55.00 and we felt it was well worth the price. We will return.

This is a fabulous restaurant on so many levels. I love Greek food and Greek service and Theo's didn't disappoint. Visiting Penticton for a couple of days, I liked it so much I went two days in a row.
