Been wanting to check out West Coast Grill & Oyster Bar, unfortunately I think this was one of those times where excitement & expectations played a roll into disappointment. The restaurant in itself is beautiful inside, almost reminds me of cute Italian restaurant my dad had once taken me to in Vancouver. A posh atmosphere at night & an appreciable relaxing quality in the morning. I think we had the worst seat in the house, my husband kept getting bonked & hit. Frustrating for him, entertaining for me. I'm not the expert in escargot, that's my husbands department but let's just say he's had better. My salad was tasty. A lengthy wait time on our main course for the stuffed chicken & vegetarian pasta. Again, he was less than impressed, I thought it was "tasty" but the half bottle Riesling may have had something to do with that. For breakfast, I understood what he meant when he said he's had better. I had the eggs benny & I would not order it again. Staff was friendly & in all good customer service.

Visited with my family and wife and we had an outstanding experience. We visited during happy hour and appy's were half price. We got a pound of mussels and clams, tacos, and a poke bowl that were all delicious. Loved everything about this place. Can't wait to go back!

Atmosphere was nice, food was excellent with great taste and presentation but the service was abysmal. It took over 20 minutes for our appetizers which were calamari and spicy cheese dip (both very quick prep), but the mains were over 50 minutes, it was clear the waitress forgot to fire them. For our table of 4 it took just shy of 2 hours for service in a very slow restaurant (only 2 other tables and 2 waitresses). The rating is on service as the culinary team prepared a good meal.

Poor service - table set without cutleries. Inform waitress but no response ! Had to speak to the Manager to get them! You do not sit the guests unless the table is set if you want to operate a fine dining restaurant ! Water spillage did not bother - oh it is just water (the whole table was wet) Waited 45 minutes for dinner ! Restaurant was not busy - only probably 35 guests but had poor dining experience . Told the manager - this place need lots of improvement on service ! Looks nice but disappointed !

I went here for the first time last night and it's amazing. The staff are attentive, and the food is amazing. Great ambiance. We went for Happy Hour, will definitely be back...probably this week!
