We were 8 hungry golfers looking for great food and drink. We certainly came to the right spot. Quaint with interesting and historic decor. The schnitzel and trimmings were spectacular, the best I’ve ever had. The wine list featured many B.C. wines of note at prices that, while not cheap, were fairly reasonable. Our server, Ann was very pleasant, wonderfully enthusiastic and frequently demonstrated the most infectious laugh, all while providing us with professional service and recommendations. Our visit to The Old Bauernhaus will now be a staple of our annual golf getaway in Kimberley. Save room for the strudel.

Awesome place! Very good service and unbelievable food. If you go you've got to get the feast. It's 5 star food that just keeps coming out. One of the top restaurants in Kimberley for sure!

Excellent German food. The red cabbage and sauerkraut are wonderful, as was the sauerbratten and schnitzel. Great wait staff squeezed us in on a Friday night without a reservation. Lots of locals confirm this is a popular local eatery.

The Bauernhaus has yet to disappoint! The food was excellent again tonight and came out in good time. You'll definitely want reservations to go here but it is worth it. A little gem on the way up to the ski hill.

Great atmosphere and service. A must stop for me when I am golfing in the area. Bavarian feast all the way.
