Rustic Cafe with an old-western twist. Quaint and cozy with very knowledgeable, polite, and pleasant staff. There's a pre and post 4pm menu. The 4pm menu is dinner oriented. They make their own baked goods from scratch and have a small bakery/ice cream shop next door. There's also a pizza shop in the back. I'd recommend this place for families; it's reasonably priced with HUGE portions. They also have a large selection of coffee and tea treats.

Good food, good company... is there a better way to spend an afternoon? Fresh, flavorful comfort food, decadent desserts, lovely surroundings, cute goats and fancy chickens in the back. Busy for lunch but seated sooner than expected. Staff is efficient and lovely.

Comfort food in a comfortable setting. The food is tasty and the service is always personable. If you aren't too full from your meal, try something from the dessert case. All items are baked on the premises. The red velvet cupcakes are the best I have had and they can always be taken home to eat later!! Also, we love to visit the goats and chickens in the pens at the back before we leave.

I love this place. The food is awesome and totally consistent. The staff are lovely and it feels totally genuine. Also very family friendly. I drive from oak bay to eat here (30 to 40 mins depending on traffic).
