Food was amazing, taste is authentic and ingredients are super good. The location is neat if you come earlier in the day when the other shops are open. The decor is very interesting as the building is 100% wood. Adds to the ambience as it smells like milled cedar. Would recommend for a date location

The massaman curry tastes exactly like the way they make it in Thailand. Amazingly cooked to perfection, as if I was still in Thailand tasting it for the first time. Great job!!! The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. Anyone who wants to try REAL Thai food, come to the Thai Orchid! You won't be dissapointed.

Been here three times and always good...excellent food, service and prices...and there is no other place in Nanaimo that serves Chang beer except The Orchid....I highly recommend this eatery. I spent one month in Asia recently and this place is very authentic,as good as it gets....:)
