Good service. Really enjoyed my meal. I've been back 4 more times and changed my rating to 5 stars. The food and service is great everytime. If you like Malaysian food this place is perfect. I have a feeling its family run and they are delightful.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Got me out the door in a hurry when I mentioned I had to make a meeting. Soup was hearty and delicious. Chicken sate sauce was surprisingly bland.

This was the perfect spot to meet my friend after not seeing each other for many years. The food was excellent and provided enough vegan options for myself to be diverse and interesting. The ambiance was also just right, not echo-full, nor are the tables packed in together. It was just right and the service was perfect - our server was even sort of our evening - naturally coming and going and speaking to us as if we we belonged even though it was the first time we were both there.

I have lived in New West over 10 years now and this is one of my favourite restaurants in the area. I was never disappointed here, neither with the food nor with the service. A Laksa at Tamarind Hill is always a tasty, genuine, abundant and affordable meal. If you like spicy food, you will have a good experience here.

1-5 depending on the chef of the day. This pains me. It use to be the best Malaysian restaurant in the lower mainland bar none. I find it too painful to play chef roulette anymore.
