I go here a lot! Conveniently placed, with plenty of parking underneath in the Royal City Centre Mall, it has cozy booth seating, good service, and a vast array of comfort food, including bottomless fries. They leave you alone to enjoy your meal in peace and chat for hours, if that's what you feel like doing. And we usually do. For dinner, I had the bacon cheddar burger, fries, a tiny slaw salad, a great dill pickle slice, and a diet Coke with lime. The drink came first and quickly as did my friend's, and the burger was huge, like you see them in commercials, but they usually never are. My friend's Legendary Burger was disappointingly small, I thought, for the $12.99 price, but good. I was almost embarrassed that mine, at $15.99, was almost 1/3 bigger. I wasn't sure I'd be able to fit it in my mouth! For lunch, the toasted shrimp on multigrain is another good bet that won't break the bank. Maybe the White Spot has gone out of fashion. But in my book, good food, good service, moderate prices, and clean, comfy seating haven't. (Have you been to a McDonald's lately?) Give it a try! Great for families, too.

Being a well known local restaurant chain, the experience at each location is nearly the same. The food is well prepared and priced on the high side but fair. I really think that they need better marketing and promotions to inject life into a tired brand. The good thing is that when you visit, you know what to expect. It is a great choice to spend time with friends or family and have a great conversation over a meal or snack.

This restaurant is spotty with service and preparation of food. In the past I would have said this is one of the better White Spots. But after dinner there on Sunday night....no longer feel that way. Waitress was unfriendly, forgetful and lacklustre. Forgot the salad that was ordered, had to ask for it and took far too long to show up. Chicken Pot Pie, warm with mushy cool fries. White Spot is known for their fries but I guess not any more. How can you screw up fries? Really? Overall an incomplete and poorly prepared meal.....just wasn’t right !!!!!

I wasn't feeling great, and ordered a cauliflower appetizer and asked for bread to go with it. The waitress agreed naan bread would be nice. I ended up with a small half a slice of bread, with butter, and was charged $2.99 for that half slice. It seemed very expensive for what I got. The appetizer was about $10 and was ok. But overall I felt the value was poor.

This White Spot is in the New Westminster mall, near the east end entrance. We like White Spot for the good quality food it offers. There are plenty of choices for food that feels like home cooked meals. I like the fish menu as well as the original burger with salad or fries. Their pies are delicious. I like the Apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. And, they have good draught IPA. Service is good.
