Used to frequent this restaurant over 10 years ago and always found it to be good value and on the cheaper side. It appears to be under new(er) management now, and they've done a great job adding some premium rolls to the menu, as well as upgrading some of the other items. The food on my last two visits was fresh and delicious. Staff is very on the ball and friendly. Service is fast and prices are reasonable. Would recommend.

Edit: My previous review/5 star rating was given some time ago. They have since undergone a change of management... And it's just not quite as good. The new owners cleaned up the place a bit and things definitely look a lot nicer now, so that's a plus. However, they are more expensive, the menu has been changed and the service is great but really really slow. For these reasons I feel I need to update my review/rating. ------ Super quick service, friendly staff and really good sushi for really inexpensive prices. Can't ask for much more than that!

Very unprofessional & rude waitress. She treated us very poorly, even rolled her eyes at my friend when she had a simple question on the menu she was asking nicely. They allowed their server to wear socks & sandals with baggy sweatpants on the job on top of her behaviour. I was taken back all the more, since I had been a long time customer there of many years. I plan to never go there, & will advise others also, unless they want to be treated poorly. Very poor customer service, & the rest of their staff didn't seem to have a problem with it either. And to add, some of the 5 star reviews on here look like fake reviews. They look like something a computer would write rather than real people with real experiences (coming from a North Shore local).

I discovered this place while walking with a friend and we stopped in and found it very pleasant, the food was great and the young man serving us was very friendly and his attention to his customers was very good without being pushy or made to feel we were being ignored. ive been back twice sense then and have had excellent food both times. definitely a spot to try out as the rest on Lonsdale are getting either very pricey or getting very run down and dingy..

I ordered off door dash and I don't know if the door dash menu is wrong or what but my order was very wrong. I ordered an agadashi tofu roll but got an agadashi tofu. I ordered a gomae roll and got an order of gomae. I ordered an asparagus and avocado roll and got just an avocado roll. They called me when I placed the ordet to tell me they didn't have the squash roll I ordered so I don't know why they didn't say anything about the rest. Still gave 3 stars because food tasted good but the order was really wrong. I didn't call because I didn't want to have to wait for another order so can't say if they would have corrected it or not. Very weird.
