Our waiter was so friendly and funny. We ordered the paella and the halibut poutine. The portions were more than enough for one person, especially the paella. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and so fresh. The waiter was also great at accommodating peanut/nut allergies.

Despite the great looking spot, the service was poor and the food lacked creativity and unique flavour. They'll probably treat you better here if you are a middle age caucasian man wooing a young immigrant lady companion. Long story... We visited during the summer, three hungry tourists that just finished a 3-hour hike at St. Marks. We were sweaty, but we cleaned up as we changed into more comfortable clothes. Fishworks had just opened and not a customer insight. We thought we would be treated like royalty, but clearly they had other ideas. First off, they weren't prepared to open. The bartender filled in for their late server. He seemed to be short tempered with us not having a reservation and bothered by our softball questions about the menu. Menu was big, but the portions were quite the opposite. We shared a few seafood samplers and some other dishes that weren't really anything to brag about. The paella was really it's only saving grace in terms of flavour. Service was much better for customers who looked richer or privileged and we spent a decent amount of money, about $80 per person. I wish I picked a better place to try seafood in Lonsdale quay. However, I did get a snazzy picture of their octopus art on their wall. I tipped 10% because the cooks shouldn't have to get shafted when the service staff leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Every food was delightful, visually stunning, perfectly cooked and unique. Servers were lovely, but yet not professional enough, our glasses were not filled (ended up asking for it) and a waiter tried hitting on my girl. I will visit again for their astonishing foods tho.

Lunchtime is a great time to visit this fish themed restaurant. Four of us had almost identical lunches with the tomato eggplant soup and the daily chefs special of halibut in a clam broth with root vegetables and potato--- superb. We had reservations but the restaurant was not overly busy--a snowy day . Excellent service and a repeat visit for us and still one of our favorites.

We had a great dining experience here. The food is absolutely delicious and well-plated. The staff is well trained and very attentive. Thank you for giving us great service Sergio and Emily. Will definitely come again very soon.
